Legal Question in Family Law in California

Conflict

I returned to California in October of 2000, because

of problems I encountered due to a California court

order issuing permanent spousal support because of

military and civil service pension rights. I have

entered a health facility for assistance here in California, and thus am having to rely on (my) social security benefits for living expenses. I was able to obtain a hearing last summer in the county originating the court order. However, it became obvious that bigamy is envolved, I have no money for an attorney, where do I go to have criminal charges filed? I have not been able to find any ''free'' assistance. I realize that there are many conflicting laws related to quazi-marital

relationships, so please take this into consideration.

Re: Conflict

Your statement is confusing. You can request a modification of the support order anytime there is a significant change of circumstances either yours or the exe partner's.

In regard to the bigamy charge, that is a crime and the police or the district attorney should investigate the allegations.
