Contempt of Court

i am going through a divorce and my husband is in california and i have an order of protection against him but i want to get him for contempt of court how long will he do and is it worth my while to do it..

Your attorney can request a contempt hearing if a court order was disregarded.

You have not provide enough information to answer. california law allows the court sentence a person who is in comtempt of court for up to 5 days in court and/or a fine up to $1,500 for each act of contempt.
