i live in california and my grandchild lives in indiana she was taken from my daughter and has been placed with her fathers mother father passed away a month or so ago my daughter wants to give the child to me permantly how do i so far away patition the court for costody

You should contact an attorney in Indiana. A petition for custody will have to be made in Indiana.
