Legal Question in Family Law in California

A couple years ago, my dad left my mom because he was having an affair with another woman and this other woman happens to be his second cousin. My dad then filed for divorce from my mom and when the divorce was final, he married his second cousin in California even though they were residing in Henderson, Nevada. My father quit his job where he had been working many years and had taken out life insurance with my sister and I listed as the beneficiaries, and started working in Nevada where his new wife/cousin had him take out life insurance and put her as the beneficiary. My father died last Friday and his wife/cousin has been refusing to give any of my sister's property to her, which is still in the house from when she lived with them. The wife/cousin also stole my father's truck from my sister which he had let her use and wanted her to have if he no longer needed it. I assume if she hasn't already, my dad's wife/cousin will apply to get the life insurance. Is there anything I can do legally to get my sister's and my dad's property back? Did the life insurance he had while working at his former job disappear when he resigned his position, even though it was in my parents' divorce decree that it would go to his children? Is this woman, my dad's wife/cousin, entitled to his property and life insurance? Is their marriage legally recognized? Any help you can give me in this matter would be appreciated.

If your father was residing in the state of Nevada at the time of his death Nevada law will apply. You need to ask your question in a forum relating to Nevada law.
