Legal Question in Family Law in California

court date

if i owe past child support (alot), and i now live in texas, i recieved a letter with a court

date in california. i can't afford an attorney or a trip to california. is there any way i can

go to court in texas for this? i also can't afford the time off from work. any advise

would be appreciated. is there family law attorneys for people who can't afford one?

you cannot use a TX court but you can appear in CA court by written declaration and not have to travel.
