Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a court document stating the amount of temporary spousal support I will receive, but my ex will not pay it. My lawyers are doing nothing. Can I go to court myself or do I need to fire my lawyers first?

You will need to substitute your attorney out of the case before you can proceed. Then you can process a wage assignment. I would not suggest that you proceed without an attorney since you do not yet have a final judgment. There are many factors that go into a spousl support and you will need to present evidence on those factors. You may call my office for a free consultation. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
