Legal Question in Family Law in California

court issues

I filed court papers to have my

support payments lowered due to a

decrease in income. I'm not

represented but my ex is, if they

bring up something other than

support issues can I choose not to

respond to anything other than the

issue I filed for? is it within my legal

right?

Re: court issues

Only those issues raised in your motion and the response should be addressed in court. Carefully review your petition and her response for issues to be addressed.
