Legal Question in Family Law in California

Does the court ever make changes to an uncontested divorce

My wife and I are divorcing after 5 years of marriage. She is going to keep the house and I am going to keep and pay the motgage on the house. The child support I pay her she is going to give back to me in the form of rent and we will sell and split the proceeds from the home sometime later after the kids grow up. We agree on everything from child support, custody, alimony and division of property. My question is this, we have agreed on child support and alimony payments that are less than what the state would award in a contested divorce. Will the court ''make'' us fit their rules or will they let us settle this on our own?

No. You can submit and agree to terms you can live with, however, child support issues remain within jurisdiction of the court till child comes of age
