Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a court order, that the father should pay me $419 per month in child support. Since this order took place in 2007, I have not received one payment in the full amount. Now he is going back to court to get the order reduce, due to not working because he lost his job and now has kids and dont have a babysitter. He stated to me that its cheaper for him to stay home with his kids while his girlfriend goes to work. What do i think can happen?

You need to contact your county Department of Child Support Services. They will collect the back support for you. Until he filed his papers to reduce he was liable for the full amount of the order, and is still. See my last answer about going forward.
