When do Court Orders actually go into effect?
When do Court Orders go into effect? Opposing counsil says from the date of trial but the attorney for DCSS states when signed by the judged and filed with the court. I sure woould appreciate some type of legal code or reference for clarification. I am hoping for when the judge signs and the court files. I need something to hand to law enforcment. I am representing myself and don't know where to look in a law library. Thanks for your help.

Normally court orders go into effect when the court makes it. The written order is merely putting the order in writing so that it is avaialble to the court in the future. There occassions on which the court may make the order effective at a time either earlier or later in time than the court hearing at which the order is made.
