Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can the Court reduce my alimony once I'm working

I'm, currently studying to become a paralegal. By how much can the court reduce my alimony if I'm only making $30,000 per year. My husband has a high income, @300,000 per year. We were married for almost 18 years and during that time I had a few part time jobs, but never a career because we moved frequently. My alimony is currently @9,000 per month.

It depends on what the order for alimony states, but the court won't modify it on its own. You need to take your order for alimony to an attorney and let him/her review it to determine your rights before anyone can say absolutely whether or not your alimony can be changed.
