cps

my son was taken into custody from cps.my sister wanted to get custody of my son.cps said no because of her age and living arrangements.and current income.My sister has a clean record stable housing and a good source of income .

Your sister would need to have the details regarding the circumstances that make her home unsuitable. Her age would usually not be a factor. Grandparents that are 20 to 40 years older than their children are appointed as foster parents by CPS. If your sister is not able to get a satisfactory answer or feels the requirements placed on her are excessive she should consult with an atoreny.
