Legal Question in Family Law in California
Custodial mom's rights, even though child has lives w/ grandparents for over 2 y
My parents have been taking care of my son for two years now. I am the cutodial parent, and the reason I allowed him to stay there is because, considering the circumstances, I felt it was within his best interest. I don't believe that this is the case anymore, and I would like to know what can/will happen when I take him--I never signed over my rights, they haven't filed...is it legal Or will I be arrested? Any advice concerning this matter is welcomed.

You have the legal right to pickup your child unless your parents have a court order giving them custody. However, your best approach might be to contact your parents and arrange for a change in custody. This would allow a gradual shift from their house to yours.
