Does the custodial parent have the right to choose the doctor and dentist that the children see even though the non-custodial parent holds the insurance coverage

If the "custodial parent" has sole legal custody, yes. If only sole physical custody, no. If insurance is an HMO or Preferred Provider, then must use a plan doctor, or you pay additional costs. See Family Code Section 4062 and 4063. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
