Custody or guardianship

Is custody or guardianship stronger? i have custody of my child and my mother has guardianship. My mother has been taking car of my child for the past 5 years and i am now financially stable and ready for her to come and live with me. Can i take her home without going to court.

A guardianship order trumps a child custody order. You will have to go to court to get the guardianship terminated.
