custody

is there a legal way to take the children away from there mother if she is post partum. She refuses to see a doctor and is wanting a divorce and continues to spend very little time with her kids.

The answer depends on who wishes to take custody of the children. The father can file a petition for dissolution and request custody of the children, with mother having visitation. If it is some other person, a petition for a guardianship for the children. Consulting with an attorney would be advisable.
