Legal Question in Family Law in California
custody and mediation
I recently went to mediation and my daughter's mother did not show up. The mediator let her do her mediation on another day. In the court order the mediator stated that she did this based on family code 3181 (a). There has never been any speculation or accusation of domestic violence. Can the mediator rightful have separate mediations even though this section does not pertain to our case?

Re: custody and mediation
Apparently you soon to be ex told the mediator that she fears domestic violence. Unfortunately, the mediators are not to discerning in that they tend to believe that every male is a potential abuser. So your ex is working it. You need some help.
