Legal Question in Family Law in California

Custody

I have a two month old baby and his father is abusive and was during pregnancy. Neither of us have custody of him. My only support is in the stae of Iowa. Am I able to go to Iowa with my baby? And if so what must I do 1st.

Consult with an attorney. If you have not done so you should report the abuse to the police. Documenting the abuse will give you the support you need to get a restraining order and permission to move to Iowa.
