Legal Question in Family Law in California
Is it possible to have custody orders modified if I need to move to the northern
My husband and I have have been going through a divorce for 2 years now. We have never gotten past the issues of custody. We are still married. I was granted primary physical custody. Allowing him the 1,3, & 5th weekend of the month. Our child is 4, and I have her pretty much every weekend. He has begun working 6 days a week, and has stopped his court ordered visitation, to when he wants to visit. I have been unemployed for 2 years now, and have finally been given a chance to regain my independance. The problem is I would have to move to northern California
and the custody orders states that we must remain in the 7 most southern counties. How would I go about lifting this restriction?

You have to go back to court for a modification of the visitation order.
