custody temporary orders

my girlfriends ex just served her for an ex parte hearing and did not even speak to judge, yet she was given temporary orders stating he gets to keep her daughter till the next court hearing at mediation. is he still responsible for taking her to school while he has her and if he doesnt what can we do?

You should look at the temporary orders to see what the judge ordered. If he took custody away then the judge probably feels it is an emergency situation. You should contact a family court clinic for do it yourself legal help.

Of course he must take her to school. If he doesn't use it to show that he shouldn't have custody of the kids.
