Legal Question in Family Law in California

Dad lying in court

recently went to court IN PRO PER to modify 7 yr old CS order. Amt was reduced drastically, I'm frustrated because Dad lies about income and gets away with it! Can I subpoena his bank statements, soc. sec. benefits statement, employers files, ANYTHING to prove that Dad is lying? My 2 teens are suffering due to my lack of income. I have FMS and have been unable to work for past 4 yrs. Can't afford atty. and have researched many self-help sites but still not confident enough to make a move. As soon as CS was reduced, Dad bought '05 BMW fully loaded on his supposed $9.00 hr income! He works for a friend of his

who lies for him and pays him under the table. please help I don't know what else to do. I'm married with 2 small children and having problems in my marriage because of this financial burden. Thank you!

Re: Dad lying in court

Find the judicial council form for family law and fill out the form interrogatories and request to produce documents. Ask for a copy of the credit application for the new car. If he does not produce it then subpoena the credit application and sale contract from the seller.
