Legal Question in Family Law in California

Im a dad in the military, who is now deployed out of the country. Before i left i got 100% physical and legal custody of my daughter. The whereabouts of the mother were unknown so i left my daughter in the care of my wife, and left her with a specialized power of attorney. My question is even though i have 100% custody does the mother still get a say so in where my daughter goes when im on deployment?

If you have sole legal and 100% physical custody, the mother has no say. She can, however, go into court and ask to modify legal to joint, and/or to get some physical custody time. If successful, she could also get the custody order modified to give her say as to what happens during deployments.
