Legal Question in Family Law in California
My daughter was adopted separately from her 3 siblings. We had a verbal agreement of visitation. We now are having trouble getting the other adoptive parents to comply. What rights does our daughter have? She's 14 and in CA. The other siblings are 9, 11, and 15 and also in CA.

A verbal agreement would most likely be unenforceable. Unfortunately, you also have the issue of the effect of the adoption on the legal relationship of the siblings. I do not see a code section that deals with this, other than Welfare & Institutions Code section 16002, which deals only in foster care situations. In other words, it would appear that your daughter would not have any rights. Good luck!
