If your daughter was born after the marriage to her mother's husband, you are not deemed the natural father in the State of California. Her husband would be considered to be the father of the child. As such you have no obligations for child support. If the mother was not married to the husband when the child was born and is not listed on the birth certificate, you could seek visitation and also could be liable for support.
