Legal Question in Family Law in California

My daughter has been nothing but a burden to my wife and I since she reached her teenage years. Mentally, verbally abusing us. No physical contact yet. She's 17 now and will turn 18 in April. I want to know if there is any law that states that she has to stay in our house until she can support herself, or can I legally kick her out? I must add that I am currently trying to have the State take her from my home because of the abuse she is causing my wife while I'm deployed to Afghanistan.

Unfortunately, you have a duty to support her until she is adopted by someone else, is granted emancipation by a court of law, your parental rights are terminated by a dependency court, or she turns 18 and is no longer in high school.
