Legal Question in Family Law in California

Daughter 19, going to college and no child support

My daughter and i live in CA. divorce took place in Texas and now Dad lives in Florida. She turned 18 and he stopped paying the 250.00 Child support. She lives at home with me, works part time and goes to beauty school. Should she still get child support and if so how do we show that she's entitiled to it?

As a general rule child support stops when the child becomes emancipated, that is turns 18. A full time high school student in California receives child support until the first of either, they graduate or turn 19.
