Legal Question in Family Law in California

my daughter is 12,

....how old does she have to be in order to go back to court and say what type of visitation with her mother. she lives with me and her mother lives 2.5 hrs. away.

....my daughter is at the age where she has school friends and wants to do things with them on the weekends. if she tells her mom she doesn't want to come visit her mom puts the guilt trip on her and says she has to. our court papers were drawn up about ten years ago
