Legal Question in Family Law in California

My daughter is 5 years old and her bio dad doesnt want to have anything to do with us. and he has not seen his daughter at all. Im not in a relationship with someone and we want to get married in 2 weeks. My daughter has my last name but when i get married i want to change my last name to his last name. How would i change my daughter last name to my husband last name as well?

1. Have your new husband do a step-parent adoption. With the name change at the end.

2. File in civil court for a name change

3. File in family law court for a name change
