Legal Question in Family Law in California
my daughters baby father has custody and he keeps making her do thing by threatening to take the kid away to another state. nothing he makes her do is against the law. but he calls her ex boyfriends and tells them things. tells her she cant leave when she wants to etc. there is no court papers stating he has soul custody. how do we get him to stop these threats so she could see her son and move on with her life. I dont think he could move to another state with out her ok dont know. my wife and I are so tried of everybody saying we cant do any thing there has to be something

Go to court and get a custody and visitation order that clears all this up. An existing order can always be modified when one party is abusing the fact that something is missing from or unclear in the existing order.
You may also want to seek restraining orders if the abusive and threatening conduct persists.
