Legal Question in Family Law in California
In December 2004 my daughter "married" a physian in a "fake" cermony in Las Vegas, we live in California. In January 2009 we found out on the web that he had never been divorced from his wife. Only because we found out he decided to finalize the divorce, that was in January 2010. Is my daughter legally married or do they need to get married again?

If it was a "fake" ceremony, why are you asking this question? If it wasn't a real ceremony, what does it matter when he divorced his wife, since your daughter and he were never really married, only "fake" married?
