Legal Question in Family Law in California

default custody

My son is living with his father right now. I filed for divorce asking for joint custody, with the details to be worked out in mediation. There have been disturbing recent events leading me to want full custody back. Things did not go well in mediation, and she is interviewing our son this week. He has not filed and I need to put in the default. What happens if I enter the default and since we still don't agree?

Re: default custody

the court will enter an order pursuant to your request. then, your husband will probably file a motion to set it aside. the court will probably grant the motion and you'll be back to square one.
