Legal Question in Family Law in California

denial of motions without a hearing

What code is contravened when a Judge offers a continuance to a matter yet denies all the motions brought force without hearing them. In other words, I requested and was granted a Continuance for a Hearing but the Judge denied all of the motions I had before the Court that day without even hearing them.
