Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can a dimissed divorce case be reopened

I have been doing all the paperwork for my divorce, and I have been to court once to ask for a continuance, I turned in paperwork for the judgement and was told I needed additional paperwork, I took to court and dropped off all paperwork. 2 days later in mail I was informed my case had been dismissed the previous month, how could this happen and I was not notified before hand. And does that mean I will have to refile or can the case be re-opened?

You should get a little help from the Family Court Facilitator or an attorney. I don't know why your case was dismissed but the only likely answer would be because you took too long.
