Legal Question in Family Law in California

need some direction

my 15 year old daughter lives with her mom in a very abusive and hostile envirment the police and cps has been called there sevral times by both my daughter and her mother she wants to live with me. my qestion is i want to take her out of that evierment without her mom calling the police on me becouse she does have custody. my problem is i only make 10.00 a hour and my hours go up and down each week and im sleeping on a friends couch right now and cant aford a place for me and my daughter to live in when i do take her out of there we will be homeless. is their any help out their so we wont be homeless and what steps do i take to get my daughter out of that envierment in a legal way that dont take months in the court system. she ask me to help daily and i feel helpless in my position. please let me know. thank you

I would get a motion to modify custody based upon the emergency situation that you are allegining. It may be possible to take your duaghter out of there on a temporary basis due to the emergency.
