Legal Question in Family Law in California

Discovery Objections

When a DEMAND for DISCOVERY is issused, when dealing with 3rd party visitation request, and finanical informtion (statements, stocks, bonds, loans, fininaical records, etc.) is propounded upon can the OBJECTION of ''PRIVICY'' or ''NOT LIKELEY TO LEAD TO DISCOVERY OF ADMISSIBLE EVIDENCE'' be used. I have been told no, but monitary issues are not going to be address within the case.

Re: Discovery Objections

I do not have enough info to intelligently answer this question. Generally, if the only issue is custody and there are no financial issues, then it would follow that you should not be required to provide confidential financial info. However, there are many exceptions to this rule and you might want to consider contacting me to discuss this matter in more detail.
