How long does a restrained person have, to remove there items from my property? Can I sell or dispose of it? Do I need to file paper work to do this?

permanant restraining order has been granted.

Re: disposal of restrained persons property

You would be responsible for the care of the property until it is returned to the owner. If the owner does not pickup the property in a reasonable time you should go to court and get an order that the property must be removed within a specified time that you can sell the property.

the court ordered restraining order itself should provide the answers you seek. if there is no such provision, you may want to retain an attorney to assist you further if you have property being held "hostage" per se. contact us today if you would like effective help in this matter.
