Legal Question in Family Law in California

CS Dispute - driver's license hanging in balance

Filed case on him in '00, closed case Dec '01. Past due about $7000 at closing time.

He has proven track record of being unreliable. Reopened case Oct '02.

He wants to avoid dealings with DA because employer will fire him if he doesn't have valid CDL. I refuse to drop case ever again.

Will he still be liable for past due amount, and because he hasn't paid any of it, is he in default and will the DA automatically issue order to suspend license? How much is contingent on the judge assigned to the case? Each time I call DA, I get different people telling me different things.

I don't want him to lose job or CDL, but cannot afford to cut him any slack. What can I do from my end?

He can keep his driver's license by starting to and continuing to make those payments.
