Legal Question in Family Law in California

dispute on where kids should go to school

My ex and I can not agree on where our 2 kids (5 and 7) should go to school next year. They have been attending a small, centrally located, private school (we split the cost) which we just learned is closing, however we were enrolled for next year. He now wants the kids to attend a large public school 1 mile from his house and 15 miles from my house. I want the kids to remain in private school similar to the one they had been at, and one that is ideally located for both of us. He is threatening to take me to court so I need guidance.

Re: dispute on where kids should go to school

Go enroll them at the school that you think that they should be in, and then file your own action for a court's ruling on the matter.
