Dispute on MSA agreement

What is the likihood of opening re-visiting an issue on my MSA agreement. All terms were agreed upon in mediation, hand written and signed by Judge and all parties. Upon the agreement being drawm up, my ex, at the last minute refused to sign and wanted to re-neogitiate several points. I was out of the country (trying to recover, he was VERY abusive during the marraige and throughout the divorce, I literally lost so much weight due to stress/fear,ended up in ICU, almost died,he was abusive to all family members including his children, our son began using drugs and had to be sent out of state to a rehab, etc....any horror you can imagine ...lots of tragedy.), Not able to work, almost out of money and needing desperately to recover. There were financial errors he refused to agree on that were clearly outlined and signed right after mediation. My only option was to return to the US, wait several months to get a mediation date and begin again.I mentally couldnt handle it and felt I signed under duress.I felt I had no choice but to sign the documents and agree to the provisions.I have to take him back to court for non-compliance on and was thinking of re-addressing this issue.Any direction or insight you could offer would be appreciated!

Re: Dispute on MSA agreement

With an aggressive attorney a persuasive case may be made. I'd have to review the document itself and have more details regarding the circumstances regarding your state of mind when signing the agreement. A motion to set it asside should be made post haste. Call me directly at 6192223504, I have family cases pending in Los Angeles County currently although I am based in San Diego.
