dissolution of mariage & death of ex spouse

My ex husband filed for dissolution of marriage. Ex husband just pased away. Is this a divorce or a leagle seperation? and since husband passed away, are my adult children entitled to any personal belongings their father had, such as auto, money, personal items he owned. Fathers family has taken everything without consulting fathers three adult children

Is he your "ex"? If the divorce was final, yes. If not, no. It was not a legal separation in any event. If he left a will, his property goes to his named beneficiaries. If he left no will, his children are entitled to inherit.
