Division of properties -Divorce

My ex-husband should get one of the 2 cars we co-own based on the court order but does not to sign the DMV form Release from Liability & Transfer of Title. I already informed the DMV office about my concern & went on-line to do the procedure but I was told he still need to sign the paperwork. Since he does not want to cooperate will I still be liable /responsible for that car if something bad happens?

You should file a motion with the court to enforce its orders, and command him to do the appropriate action to release one of the cars to you.
