Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am divoced.

At the time of divorce, six years ago, my x-wife was unemployed, attending college, and recieving state disability benefits.

I have been paying child support and alimony (without fail) for the past six years.

At age 19 I stopped paying child support for my son.

I presently pay child support and alimony each month for my wife and daughter who is fourteen.

My x-wife finished her education recently and got a good paying job at a hospital in the SanFancisco area.

Now that she is gainfully employed, can my monthly child support and alimony payment be adjusted?

( As a teacher, am taking a 10% cut in pay and benefits this year. I'm looking for ways to compinsate).

Absolutely. You should immediately file an OSC re: modification of child support. You would have to check your judgment to see if the court retained jurisdiction to modify spousal support. With a spouse in school it would be highly likely the court would have kept jurisdiction to make adjustments once she finished. If so, you can modify that too.
