Legal Question in Family Law in California

In my divorce I agreed to have the father claim our children every other year for tax purposes. He has not given me child support. Will it effect me if I claim them? I do not know if he's claimed them.

Review your court order to determine what years your ex-husband can claim the children as dependents for tax purposes. If the order is not clear, then you should return to court to straighten that out.
