divorce agreement

hi!! i signed a divorce agreement

stating that i get alimony until my

daughter is 18 years old. i was

married for 14 years and 4 months.

should i have recieved alimony for

the rest of my life and if so, can i

refile a new request and if so, do i

need a lawyer? i now make half of

what i made at the signing and my

ex makes about double. we said we

would re visit the issue if our financial

situation changes, but he is not

willing anymore. this was 2002. we

didn't use any lawyers back then,

just a legal clinic. thank you, irene

You need to take the documents from your divorce to an attorney and discuss the matter. only by reviewing these documents can an attorney give you an opinion about your options.
