Legal Question in Family Law in California

divorce or annulment?

I am married here in US for almost 3 years and with 2 kids. We found out that the Secret Marriage with my ex boyfriend back in 1999 in the Philippines is on the record. We've been told it's not going to be filed. I was 19 yrs. old and his 18. We did not go to a official court or church, just a small office and paid someone to do the ceremony, and no parents consent. We just made up some information on the document. The copy of the marriage certificate is not cleared at all even the original. I did not use his last name, we have no kids, no property together and we never lived together. He lives there and I am a US Citizen. Is my marriage here voided? Can I file here? If so, divorce or annulment? What's the cost and how long it will takes? Is it going to be granted here and there since I am not sure if there is no divorce in the Philippines? Can I still go back there for vacation without causing me any trouble? If I file here, Is there any problem that can affect my marriage here? What can I do since I am here in US. I just had a baby 3 weeks ago and cannot attend any court hearings nor I cannot go there in the Philippines. I appreciate you taking time and thank you for any help that you can give me.

Re: divorce or annulment?

if you were legally married at the time you married here, then the second marriage is void.
