Legal Question in Family Law in California

In my divorce my ex was awarded half of my retitirement..CalPERS asked me to file for a new order that determines the specific nature and extent of her comm/poperty. This we did filing on May 11, 2012. At the time we were told it would take 3 weeks for a reply. I was told last friday, 6 to 8 weeks, due to cut backs, layoffs...so far nothing..should we just wait or get a layer...will it truely go any faster?

This is Los Angeles Superior Court...Pomona
