Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce, it's not that bad.

How do you file for a do-it-yourself divorce without all the legal mumbo-jumbo? I live in California he lives in Tennessee. Child support not an issue, already receive and we have joint custody through Riverside Courts. We both agree to divorce, no property to divide, no assets, no spousal support requested, just my maiden name restored. He has filed with Riverside Co. family law (via Tennessee)but the paperwork keeps getting sent back and rejected? We need help please, but have no money to pay for anything. Any advice for two good-broke people??? Thank you
