Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce, California

In my uncontested divorce, the judge

has signed the order declaring a

default judgement. The order

indicates that I cannot remarry until

September 25, 2008. Does this

mean that I am still technically

married? Thanks for the help.

Re: Divorce, California

The judgment will not become final until that date. Therefore you cannot marry before that date as the dissolution is not final.
