Legal Question in Family Law in California

My divorce case dragged out for almost 3 years. It finally went to trial just a few months ago and everything was finalized. If my ex husband were to file papers to get the case opened again would I have to be served in person before any court dates can be set? Or because we already had an open case will they just mail the paperwork to me and I will be expected to show up?

If you represented yourself, notice should be sent to you at the last known address of record in the case. If you were represented by counsel, notice would be sent to your attorney, unless your attorney has filed a notice of withdrawal pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 285.1.
