Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce decree does not address retirement benefits or survior benefits. Since its not specifcally addressed, does that mean we are entitled to each other's retirement benefits?

Ex is retired from civil service in 2008 with 30 years. Married over 9 years.

It means your judgement is deficient and you need to go back to court to sort it out.

The answer to your question depends on the nature of the retirement and survivor's benefits. If the court issued a judgment terminating status, but reserved jurisdiction over those issues, it means it has not been decided yet.
